In January and February, COA ordered several cases published which are relevant to our practice:
State v. Eric J. Joling, 2025 WI App 6 (holding that federal disability payments may be used to assess ability to pay restitution).
State v. Cordero D. Coleman, 2025 WI App 7 (delays caused by COVID pandemic did not cause speedy trial violation).
State v. D.E.C., 2025 WI App 9 (testimony of treating doctor can cure defects in written treatment plan prepared in connection with involuntary med petition under 971.14)
State v. Christopher A. Gore, 2025 WI App 11 (implied consent case holding that comments about obtaining a warrant did not invalidate consent).
